Mark is also the President of Just Foreign Policy, an independent non profit organization dedicated to reforming US foreign policy based upon diplomacy, cooperation and international law.
Today's guest is Aileen Mee-o-yo Smith and she is the Executive Director of Green Action in Kyoto, Japan-- a citizens public protection organization founded in 1991 to stop Japan’s plutonium program and to shift the country’s emphasis on nuclear energy towards clean renewable. Aileen first became aware of the dangers of toxic waste in 1970, when she and her husband were documenting the human toll of mercury poisoning in the town of Minamata. Since then, she and her organization have become one of Japan’s leading and most effective voices challenging the production, commerce and transport of nuclear materials.

Jim has degrees from Stanford University, an MA in law from Cambridge in the UK, and a doctorate of law from the University of Pennsylvania. Before Earthjustice, he worked with the Natural Resources Defense Council and with private legal firms.
Jim, along with Earthjustice, have been spearheading efforts to curtail incinerator pollution by the fossil fuel energy industries and to preserve the Clean Air Act and the EPA’s authority to oversee it now under serious threat by the private energy cartels.
Today's guest is Dr. Larry Malerba and he is a board certified osteopathic physician and certified homeopathist practicing in Guilderland in upstate New York, as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventative Medicine at New York Medical College.
