Guest: Dr. Gwynne Dyer
Dr. Gwynne Dyer is a world renowned military historian with a doctorate in Military and Middle Eastern History from Kings College in London and a past service record in the American, British and Canadian navies. As a scholar, he has taught War Studies at the Royal Military Academy in the UK. Dr. Dyer has been a syndicated columnist for over 20 years, his writings appearing in over 175 newspapers and magazines in 45 countries. His earlier book “War” was the basis for a television series aired on BBC and PBS.
In 2010, Dr. Dyer’s book “Climate Wars: The Fight for Survival as the World Overheats” was hailed by such people as James Lovelock , NASA’s chief scientist Dennis Bushnell, and Sr. Crispin Tickell (former president of the Royal Geographic Society) as a very viable scenario of dwindling food resources, starvation, mass migrations and a flurry of new military conflicts around the world.
