Call to action - petition White House for approval of licensing of self-sufficient clean energy generators such as those using cold fusion - with Bahram Maskanian
Bahram Maskanian is the founder and CEO of the Venus Project Foundation in New York City that is dedicated to the promotion of clean energy technologies to reduce the carbon footprint and replace fossil fuel based energy sources.
The Foundation has petitioned the White House with New Energy Technology strategy that would include cold fusion power generators, completely self-sustaining and available for homes. Until now these new clean technologies have not been available to the public. The foundation is seeking 100,00 signatures by May 31 to meet the goal set by the White House.

Dr. Burton received his degrees from Yale University and the UCSF Medical School He writes frequently for the San Francisco Chronicle and Salon. His latest book is “The Skeptic's Guide to the Brain: What Neuroscience Can and Cannot Tell Us About Ourselves.”

Dr. Guy McPherson is a professor emeritus of Natural Resources, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona. He has specialized in forest resources, energy decline and climate change and their economic consequences. In the past he has also taught at Texas A&M and University of California at Berkeley.
Having become disillusioned with the American university environment and academia, and after attempts by university officials to silence his outspokenness about the human causes of climate change, Guy abandoned his tenured position as a full professor for ethical reasons of conscience.

The Dicksonian conditions of the labor force working in America's Restaurant Industry and grow, harvest and prepare the food we eat, with Dr. Saru Jayaraman.
Dr. Saru Jayaraman is an attorney and labor and food activist who is the co-founder of the Restaurant Opportunities Center United, a 10,000 member non-profit organization devoted to improving the economic welfare of workers in the food and restaurant industry. Her organization published the National Diner’s Guide, which rates restaurants according to how their labor force is treated. She is currently the director of the Food Labor Research Center at the University of California at Berkeley. Saru attended Harvard’s JF Kennedy School of Government and received her juris degree from Yale University Law School. She is the author of “Behind the Kitchen Door” which pulls away the appalling conditions of the labor force who prepare and cook the foods we eat. Her organization’s website is ROCUnited.org
