Guest: Cullen Murphy Cullen Murphy is the editor at large for Vanity Fair magazine, and the former managing editor of the Atlantic Monthly.  Some may remember the comic strip Prince Valiant—a series Cullen worked on with his father. An expert scholar in the classics and medieval history, Cullen is the author of several books including “The Word According to Eve: Women and the Bible.”  He appeared on this program earlier to speak on the fall of the Roman Empire and how it informs us regarding the ultimate fate of America. Cullen has just released a new book:  “God’s Jury: The Inquisition and the Making of the Modern World” – an investigation into the psychology and methods of bureaucracy, power and persecution and how the legacy of the Inquisition continues to live with us today in recent American history.
