Today's guest is Dr. Christopher Busby and he is is one of England’s leading experts in low-dose ionizing radiation’s effects on human health and the environment. He is the director of the environmental consultancy group Green Audit, and the Scientific Secretary to the European Committee on Radiation Risks based in Brussels. He is also a visiting professor in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland. He has been a member of several large government committees in the UK government, including its oversight group on depleted uranium used in radioactive weapons in the Middle East, and the committee to examine nuclear emissions and their risks.
