Wenonah Hauter is the Executive Director of Food and Water Watch, a non profit organization based in Washington DC campaigning for clean health food, safe water and sustainable energy. In addition to being one of the nation’s leading health food advocates, she also owns and operates and organic farm in the Virginia mountains. Prior to taking charge of Food and Water Watch, Wenonah had served as the Director of Public Citizen’s Energy and Environmental Program, was the environmental policy director of Citizen Action, and was a senior organizer for Union of Concerned Scientists. The US as a Drug Culture and public health policies to solve this problem
Dr. Steven Jonas is a professor emeritus of preventive medicine at Stony Brook University, where he has taught since 1971, and the author and editor of 35 books and numerous articles in academic journals and alternative news sites including OpedNews and the Greanville Post, addressing national health policies and wellness, sports and politics.  He is also a contributing editor of The Political Junkies for Progressive Democracy Magazine and has been critiquing the Democratic Party for several decades.  Among his books are The 15% Solution:  A Political HIstory of American Fasicism and The New Americanism, with a foreward by Senator George McGovern.  Dr Jonas' most recent book looks at the failure of the the war on drugs -- "End the Drug War, Solving the Problem: The Public Health Approach". He holds graduate degrees from Harvard and Yale Medical Schools and from the Wagner School at New York University.

The criminalization of poverty in America
Professor Peter Edelman is the Carmack Waterhouse Professor of Law and Public Policy at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC, and one of our nation's leading authorities on the economics, politics and law behind poverty, welfare and juvenile justice. He was the former legislative assistant to Senator Robert Kennedy up until Bobby's assassination, and went on to be the deputy director of the Robert F Kennedy Center for Human Rights. Prof Edelman was also a member of Bill Clinton's administration and famously resigned in opposition to Clinton's signing of welfare reform legislation.  Earlier he was a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg, and he received his law degree from Harvard Law School.  Peter is author of "Not a Crime to Be Poor: The Criminalization of Poverty in America."

Vegas Tenold is a Norwegian investigative journalist, currently living in the US, who has been covering the American far right movements, such as the KKK and neo-Nazis since 2011.  He has also covered human rights issues in Russia, American national security, and conflicts in Africa and the Middle East.  Vegas is a graduate of Columbia University's School of Journalism, and his articles and investigative reports have appeared in New York Times, Rolling Stone, the New Republic, al-Jazeera and other publications.  He is the author of "Everything You Love Will Burn: Inside the Rebirth of White Nationalism in America" which recounts his six years of being embedded in three of America's largest white nationalist organizations, his observations on their strategies and activities and his research into the causes for White Nationalism's rising popularity.
