Today's guest is Gary Rivlin and he is a journalist who wrote daily as the tech editor for the New York Times, where he covered Silicon Valley, and has contributed regularly to Wired, Newsweek , the East Bay Express, Salon, the New Republic and the American Bar Association Journal. He has won a dozen journalism awards for business and finance, including the Gerald Loeb and Carl Sandberg Awards. Gary has published four books, including “The Plot to Get Bill Gates,” and most recently, “Broke USA: From Pawnshops to Poverty Incorporated – How the Working Poor Became Big Business.”
