The exploitation of american universities and academia by the CIA, FBI and Foreign Intelligence agencies

Daniel Golden is a Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist, the current senior editor at ProPublica, a Boston-based nonprofit newsroom covering topics in the public interest, and a former managing editor for education at Bloomberg News.  Dan received his first Pulitzer award for his Wall Street Journal series on admission inequality at elite universities, and later a Pulitzer for his Bloomberg series on how US corporations dodge taxes by moving their bases overseas. Another nomination was for university exploitation of veterans, poor students and the homeless. He has also received three Polk Awards. Daniel's most recent book is "Spy Schools: How the CIA, FBI and Foreign Intelligence Secretly Exploit America's Universities" which documents the infiltration of academia by domestic and foreign intelligence services, with some hair raising stories, and explains how this seriously jeopardizes the nation's higher education.
