avoid: stop. Stop long enough to turn off the distractions and ask, with real seriousness,
what the purpose and meaning of this life is. Then comes the harder follow-up: am I
honoring that purpose—or am I merely performing a routine that looks like living? And if I’m
honest, which pieces of my life no longer make sense to me?
