Today's guest is Robert Parry and he is one of our leading progressive investigative journalists best known for his uncovering Iran-Contra story and Oliver North’s involvement which earned him the George Polk Award for National Reporting in 1984. He is currently the President of The Institution for the Study of Long-Term Economic Trends and was the Chief Economic Policy Advisor for the Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s 2008 presidential campaign. Dr. Hudson has served as an advisor to the White House, State and Defense departments at the Hudson Institute, in addition to the United Nations Institute where he became a specialist in global economics. Dr. Hudson has written several books and many important papers articles, including “Super-Imperialism: The Economic Strategy of the American Empire” and “Global Fracture: The New International Economic Order”.

For almost 20 years he was a foreign correspondent in Central America, the Middle East, Africa and the Balkans for such news media as The New York Times (for 15 of those years), Christian Science Monitor and National Public Radio. While at the Times, Chris and team received the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for their reportage on global terrorism. The same year he received Amnesty International’s Global Award for Human Rights Journalism.

Chris’ most recent book is “The World As It Is: Dispatches on the Myth of Human Progress” – a collection of Chris’s most insightful and timeless essays on our current political climate, the middle east, and the decline and decay of the American empire. Today's guest is Janette D. Sherman, M. D. and she is a specialist in internal medicine and toxicology. She has worked in radiation and biologic research at the University of California nuclear facility, and at the US Naval Research Laboratory at Hunter’s Point in San Francisco. From 1976-1982 Dr. Sherman served on the advisory board for the EPA Toxic Substances Control Act. She has been an adviser to the National Cancer Institute on breast cancer and to the EPA on pesticides. Currently she is Adjunct Professor at the Environmental Institute, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Research Associate and Lecturer with the Radiation and Public Health Project.

Dr. Sherman has published more than 70 articles in the scientific literature. She completed the translation and editing of the book Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and Nature, written by A. V. Yablokov, V. B. Nesterenko and A. V. Nesterenko, published by the New York Academy of Sciences in December 2009.

Today's guest is Vincent Bugliosi and he is one of the nation’s preeminent prosecuting attorneys and a multi-best selling author. He is best known for having prosecuted Charles Manson and the other defendants accused of the Tate-LaBianca murders. During his outstanding career as a Los Angeles county Deputy District Attorney, he has tried 106 felony cases, having lost only one and having won all the murder cases he prosecuted.

Aside from his book Helter Skelter, which detailed the Manson case, his best-selling “Outrage” unearthed the ineptitude of the prosecution and jury during the OJ Simpson trial. Other books have addressed the JFK assassination and Supreme Court decisions of Clinton vs. Jones and Bush vs. Gore, and a later book establishing the legal case for the prosecution of George W. Bush for murder.

His most recent book and perhaps most controversial is “Divinity of Doubt: The God Question” which essential puts on the stand the god of written sacred texts as well as organized religion, the ahistorial divine word of scripture, theism, intelligent design and atheism.
