Sibel Edmonds is a former FBI translator who gained notoriety having exposed illicit activities within the FBI involving security breaches, intelligence neglect about pre-911 communication notifying of a massive attack on American cities, cover-ups and international blocking of intelligence that endangered American security. What animals teach us about health and disease and the science of healing

Dr. Barbara Natterson-Horowitz is the attending cardiologist at the University of California Los Angeles’ Medical Center, a professor at UCLA’s Division of Cardiology and director of the schools Cardiac Imaging Center. She is also a trained psychiatrist and served as a chief resident at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and specializes in the relationship between psychological states and heart disease.

Later Dr. Natterson-Horowitz began exploring veterinarian and animal sciences to uncover what animals can teach us for improving health and clinical care, particularly in treating the same diseases suffered by humans and other species. She became a member of the Los Angeles Zoo’s Medical Advisory Board and is the founder of the Zoobiquity Research Center. A global forecast for the next 40 years – a conversation with a co-author of the controversial 1972 publication Limits of Growth

Prof. Jorgen Randers is a professor of climate change studies at the Norwegian School of Business in Oslo Norway, where he specializes in the future of climate change and sustainable development. He has served on the boards of several corporations and is a sustainability consultant for the Norwegian government’s Commission on Low Emissions to reduce greenhouse gases. In the 90s he served as the deputy director general of the World Wildlife Fund International. He did is undergraduate work at the University of Oslo and received his doctorate from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

Prof. Randers is perhaps best known internationally for his co-authored 1972 publication of the controversial study “Limits of Growth’, which utilized system’s analysis to predict the state of the world in 2012. While mostly discredited at the time of its publication, the study has become increasingly prophetic in its accuracy and has stirred renewed interest. A new futurist analysis looking at the world in 2052, and commemorating the 40th anniversary the original report, has just been published – “2052: A Global Forecast for the Next Forty Years.”

Vandana Shiva is a philosopher, environmental activist, author and eco feminist. Shiva, currently based in Delhi, has authored more than 20 books. She was trained as a physicist and received her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 1978 with the doctoral dissertation "Hidden variables and locality in quantum theory."

She is one of the leaders and board members of the International Forum on Globalization, (along with Jerry Mander, Edward Goldsmith, Ralph Nader, Jeremy Rifkin, et al.), and a figure of the global solidarity movement known as the alter-globalization movement. She has argued for the wisdom of many traditional practices, as is evident from her interview in the book Vedic Ecology (by Ranchor Prime) that draws upon India's Vedic heritage. She is a member of the scientific committee of the Fundacion IDEAS, Spain's Socialist Party's think tank.

She was awarded the Right Livelihood Award in 1993.

Prof. Gar Alperovitz is the Lionel Bauman Professor of Political Economy at the University of Maryland and the founder of the Democracy Collaborative. He is a former fellow of Politics at Harvard and Cambridge Universities and has served as a legislative director for the House of Representatives, the US Senate, and as a special assistant to the State Department.

Father Roy Bourgeois is a priest of the Maryknoll Order of the Catholic Church and is the leading activist founder of the human rights groups School of the America’s Watch in Washington DC.
