John Potash is an investigative researcher, human rights activist and social worker who has counseled people with mental illness and addictions for over 25 years.  His work has been featured on CSPAN’s American History, the Baltimore Chronicle, City Paper, Z Magazine, Covert Action Quarterly and other publications.  John has a graduate degree from Columbia University and has published extensively on the FBI’s war on African American leaders and Black activist celebrities.  His most recent book, which followed many years of research is “Drugs as Weapons Against Us: The CIA’s Murderous Targeting of SDS, Panthers, Hendrix, Lennon and Other Activists” – a through look at intelligence operations to use hallucinogenic and other drugs to squash civil rights and anti-war resistance.

The violence of organized forgetting and America’s disimagination machine, with Henry Giroux

Professor Henry Giroux holds the Global Television Network Chair of English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University in Ontario Canada. He was previously the Waterbury Chair Professor at Penn State University and Director of the Forum in Education and Cultural Studies.  Professor Giroux is a leader in the field known as critical and public pedagogy – a term to describe the nature of spectacle in our new media, body politic and corporate education.  He is a prominent advocate of radical democracy, which opposes the powers of neoliberalism, corporatism, and religious fundamentalism that is now diminishing our population’s sense of civic virtue, free-thought and well being. He has also been named among the top fifty educational thinkers of the modern Period.

Dr. Brian Hooker is an Associate Professor of Biology at Simpson University in California, and a senior consultant for ARES Corporation, specializing in environmental restoration design.  As a bioengineer, Dr. Hooker spent 16 as a team leader for the Dept of Energy’s Genomes to Life Center for Molecular and Cellular Systems at its Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where he investigated gene-protein networks, cell signaling and cellular metabolic pathways.  He is a prominent leader in the organization Focus Autism, which is investigating the scientific evidence for a vaccine-autism connection. Brian has a 16 year old son with autism and has been active in autism community for almost a decade, including researching and analyzing data on the association between vaccines and autism. Over the years Brian has filed many FOIAs with federal health agencies and has received 1000s of pages of documents that support the need to question the efficacy and safety of vaccination.  He has been the point independent researcher in the recent whistleblower case with Dr. Thompson from the CDC regarding vaccine dangers.
