Alissa writes a bi-monthly column in The Guardian call Outclassed.  She is a graduate of Columbia University's School of Journalism, was a Nieman fellow at Harvard, and has taught at SUNY New Paltz and Columbia. She has received the LA Press Club Award and was nominated for the National Magazine Award. The scientific evidence to support the underlying principles of magic and why this will be part of the new frontier of science and human potential
Dr. Dean Radin is the chief scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and a distinguished associate professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies. For almost four decades, Dr. Radin has been researching the frontiers of consciousness and parapsychological phenomena or psi. He has held appointments at AT&T Bell Labs, Princeton University, the University of Edinburgh, Stanford Research Institute International and was also a scientist conducting highly classified research on psychic phenomena for various US government agencies. Dr. Radin has lectured widely throughout the world. His earlier book The Conscious Universe was reached the number one spot on Amazon for parapsychology, and received the Scientific and Medical Network's Best Book Award. JONATHAN HAIDT is a social psychologist whose research examines the intuitive foundations of morality. His most recent book is the New York Times bestseller, The Righteous Mind: Why Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion. At Stern, where he is the Thomas Cooley Professor of Ethical Leadership, he is applying his research on moral psychology to rethink the way business ethics is studied and is integrated into the curriculum. His goal is to draw on the best behavioral science research to create organizations that function as ethical systems, with only minimal need for directly training people to behave ethically. He co-founded the research collaboration at EthicalSystems.org. Haidt is also working on increasing viewpoint diversity in the academy via Heterodox Academy, a new collaborative project. 
Before coming to Stern, Haidt taught for sixteen years at the University of Virginia. His first book was The Happiness Hypothesis: Finding Modern Truth in Ancient Wisdom. His writings appear frequently in The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal, and he has given four TED talks. He was named one of the top global thinkers by Foreign Policy magazine and also by Prospect magazine.

Charles Eisenstein is an independent scholar, counterculture speaker and author writing on themes about human culture and identity, economics, the evolution of human cultures, and the spiritual challenges of coping with a society and world in chaos.  In the past he has taught at Goddard College, Penn State, and has lived in China.  Charles holds degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from Yale University and has been active with other visionaries to develop progressive models of business and charity based upon a deeper ethical standard. Prof. William Egginton is the Decker Professor of Humanities and Director of the Alexander Grass Humanities Institute at Johns Hopkins University where he focuses on Spanish literature, literary criticism, ethics, social pluralism and philosophy.  He has written several highly acclaimed books and contributes regularly to the New York Times' The Stone, the Los Angeles Review of Books and Stanford University's Arcade.  His most recent book -- "The Splintering of the American Mind" - takes a hard look at the neoliberal trends that now dominate our college and university campuses and administrations, and have in turn fostered a culture of divisive identity politics, economic and racial inequality and are now eroding our sense of social community and authentic civic participation.

Lauren Weinstein delivers an inspiring TEDxPaloAlto talk on how to break free from limiting beliefs. Lauren Weinstein is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, teaching one of the most popular classes there—The Essentials of Strategic Communication. In addition to her work at the Business School, she has served as a guest lecturer and skills coach for Stanford Law School, the Stanford undergraduate program and the Stanford d.school. In addition to her work at Stanford, Lauren is the founder of Resonate Coaching. As the principal at Resonate, Lauren works with clients ranging from TED speakers to start-up founders to high-level executives, helping them achieve more powerful public speaking and interpersonal communication skills. Prior to her current work, Lauren served as a communication strategist for high level teams at Fortune 500 companies and worked with Santa Clara County in their mediation and communication skills training program. Lauren received her J.D. from Stanford Law School and her B.A. in psychology from Stanford University. She’s also a certified leadership development coach through the Coaches Training Institute.
