Isabella Thomas has two autistic children who were part of the original 12 patients in the Royal Free study reported in the Lancet by Drs Wakefield, Walker Smith, Murch and colleagues. It is this 1998 study by Wakefield, subsequently retracted by the publication, that has caused such a furor over the MMR vaccine and which is now the basis for the witch hunt against Wakefield in the UK. Isabella has 4 sons- 2 received the MMR vaccine and now have autism & serious bowel problems, and two who did not receive the MMR & are fine.

Walter Bortz MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine and one of America’s most distinguished medical experts on aging and longevity – particularly the role of physical exercise to enhance healthy aging. He currently the Chairman of the Medical Advisory Board for the Diabetes and Wellness Foundation. At 80 years old, Dr. Bortz is still an active marathon runner, completing the Boston Marathon last year. His recent work has been a serious critique of the failures of our current medical paradigm and the need to develop a preventative system – which he calls Next Medicine – that focuses on physical activity, healthy diet, and lifestyle changes.
